Senior Job Captain – Interiors Studio

  • Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
  • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, PTO, bonus opportunities, and a flexible schedule with half-day Fridays.


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Job Captain to join our interior studio. This role is responsible for design development, construction documentation, and team coordination for multifamily and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit, can effectively manage teams to produce detailed construction documents, and ensures seamless integration of consultant documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design development and construction document preparation for multifamily and mixed-use projects.
  • Utilize Revit to develop professional and complete graphic documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
  • Prepare general project data sheets, dimensions, material notes, and references within the documentation.
  • Generate and assemble detailed project drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the set.
  • Conducted basic code analysis and contributed to the review and management of redlines.
  • Oversee the integration of consultant documentation and assist in coordination efforts.
  • Support during the construction phase, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of interior architectural experience.
  • 6+ years of Revit proficiency (required).
  • Experience with multifamily and/or hospitality projects (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction types I, III, and V.
  • Ability to hand sketch details before producing Revit drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Education & Licensure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design (required).
  • California Architectural License or on track for licensure (preferred).
