Role Overview

We are seeking a confident and creative Job Captain who is an excellent communicator and self-starter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to understanding design deeply while ensuring the production of top-quality documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. Proficiency in Revit is essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Coordination: Lead and oversee each phase of projects, ensuring they align with overall goals and timelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Architect and Project Manager to enhance design and detailing processes.
  • Consultant Communication: Regularly engage with consultants, managing effective communication throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor junior staff, assisting in their professional development and skill acquisition.
  • Presentations: Develop presentation materials to showcase design solutions for senior staff internal reviews and client or consultant meetings.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in architecture, with a preference for candidates with hospitality project experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Actively pursuing architectural licensure is required if not already licensed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit is mandatory, along with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Design Skills: Strong design and documentation capabilities with introductory knowledge in coordinating construction drawing sets and an understanding of commercial construction detailing, materials, and codes.
  • Organizational Skills: Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects through various phases effectively.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients, consultants, vendors, and team members.
