We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team and take a leadership role in delivering exceptional tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work on a hybrid schedule both remotely and from our Torrance, CA office. In this position, you will collaborate with partners, manage tax engagements, and guide a team of tax professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to build trusted client relationships.


HIRING NOW: Tax Manager


Location: Hybrid - Torrance, CA


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, preparation, and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Provide strategic tax planning services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Mentor and lead tax staff and managers, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners on business development initiatives, expanding client relationships and growing the firm's tax practice.
  • Stay current on tax laws, trends, and compliance requirements to provide proactive advice to clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license required).
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience focusing on tax, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws, with experience serving both individual and corporate clients.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package - ($140-190,000/year, pending exp, etc.)
