Locations: Troy, Detroit or Jackson, MI - HYBRID
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring projects are executed smoothly and within deadline constraints.
- Collaborate closely with clients, providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance their financial reporting processes.
- Develop and mentor a dynamic team of audit professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and the highest level of service.
- Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to firm growth through client relationship building.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in audit, preferably in a public accounting or professional services environment.
- Experience working in the Public Sector (preferred); public, schools, municipal, government, etc.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully managing audit teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to building client relationships and contributing to team success.
