Hiring: Design Principal – (K-12, DSA, Education Projects)

Your Role:

As the Design Principal, you will set the creative vision for a dynamic studio, overseeing education and civic projects from concept to execution. You will foster a culture of innovation, mentorship, and bold design thinking—guiding teams to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and create spaces that inspire.

What You’ll Do:

• Set the design direction for the studio, leading the development of impactful projects at all scales.
• Champion creativity and innovation, ensuring that every project delivers excellence in both form and function.
• Mentor and guide teams, fostering both creative and leadership growth.
• Build strong relationships with clients, communities, and industry partners to elevate the firm’s presence.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to develop strategies that drive new opportunities and reinforce the studio’s reputation for exceptional design.

What You Bring:

• 12+ years of architectural experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Expertise in K-14 educational design in California (DSA project experience required)
• A strong portfolio of innovative and impactful designs that showcase creative problem-solving.
• Architectural licensure is required (preferably in CA); LEED accreditation is a plus.
• A passion for mentoring, collaboration, and leading teams to produce outstanding work.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $140-180,000 based on qualifications, experience, etc.
