Locations: New York, NY (Hybrid-Schedule, 2-3 days max in office)

The Role: We are hiring a Trust & Estate Tax Manager to lead and expand a specialized practice area. This is a pivotal hire—ideal for someone who wants to play a key role in building a strategic service line while mentoring junior staff and delivering exceptional service to an elite client base. You will manage complex compliance, provide high-level tax planning, and work directly with clients, attorneys, and wealth advisors.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • CPA or JD/LLM with strong estate and trust tax background
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or tax law
  • In-depth knowledge of fiduciary income tax, estate/gift tax, and generation-skipping transfer tax
  • Experience managing client relationships and reviewing trust and estate returns
  • Strong understanding of tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and multigenerational wealth


Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Experience advising on succession planning and charitable giving strategies
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax or similar software
  • Prior experience growing or leading a dedicated estate & trust team


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Salary Range: $125,000-165,000/year (DOE - Flexible pending exp)
