About the Opportunity: We're seeking an Accounting Operations Admin-Manager for our San Diego office. This person will have an accounting background and can experience managing internal operations as well. This is a pivotal role that has the opportunity to grow within.  


What You Need | Qualifications:  

  • 5+ Yrs of experience within Admin/Operations & Accounting  
  • Accurate recording, classifying financial transactions, and managing taxes within a company.  
  • Recording disbursements and payments accurately. 
  • Maintaining the general ledger and other accounting records. 
  • Experience with recording, summarizing, and analyzing financial transactions. 
  • Examining financial documents and financial transactions to ensure compliance and rectify any discrepancies. 
  • Ensuring the accuracy of bookkeeping and that the bookkeeping is compliant with state and federal laws. 
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Pro and ADP Payroll Services, understanding all feature sets. 
  • Preferred/nice to have experience coming from an AEC company, not mandatory  


Duties | Expectations:  

  • Manage and maintain office equipment, supplies, and facilities. 
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence. 
  • Organize and maintain office records and databases. 
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure smooth functioning. 
  • Provide administrative support to employees.  
  • Assist with new onboarding employees.  
  • Maintain personnel records.  
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns. 
  • Develop and implement office procedures and policies. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 
  • Manage office budget and expenses. 
  • Work with executives to ensure company expenses stay within budget. 
  • Involvement with the hiring and training of new employees. 
  • Assist with customer service.
