Job Title: MEP Design Engineer / Associate Engineer


Location: Phoenix, AZ - Full-time, On-Site/Hybrid


About the Role: We are seeking a driven Associate Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) projects across diverse sectors such as commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, and life sciences. This position offers a growth-oriented pathway where your expertise will be nurtured alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment committed to excellence and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and drafting of comprehensive MEP systems for various building projects, aligning with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Execute detailed analyses, including load calculations, design layouts, and system distribution.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to produce high-quality design packages, construction documents, and technical specifications.
  • Review and evaluate contractor submissions, shop drawings, and RFIs for adherence to design intentions and code compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide project development while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
  • Interface with clients, architects, and project teams, contributing expert knowledge and fostering seamless project execution.
  • Stay informed on evolving codes and trends in MEP engineering to continually enhance project quality and innovation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering.
  • PE licensure or commitment to obtaining within a reasonable period (preferred).
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of California building codes and MEP regulations.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage projects and mentor team members.
